This project showcases a complete hardwood floor refinishing process, focusing on the restoration of existing wood flooring in a spacious lower-level room. Initially, the surface was thoroughly sanded down to the bare wood to remove the old finish and smooth out any surface imperfections. Following this crucial preparation phase, a rich, dark stain was evenly applied to emphasize the natural grain pattern of the boards. Finally, the hardwood floor refinishing was completed by sealing the floors with a high-gloss topcoat, thereby providing both a durable protective layer and a highly reflective surface.
