Floor Refinish Old House: Process and Final Results

This project involved refinishing the hardwood floors of an old house. To begin with, the surface was carefully sanded to remove old finishes and imperfections. After that, the team applied a dark stain to enhance the natural wood grain and give the floor a renewed look. Finally, a protective finish was applied, leaving the surface smooth, reflective, and resistant to wear. As a result, the once worn-out wood now has a polished appearance that highlights its original character while ensuring durability for years to come.
